ipadio: Sends Directly To Posterous

After the initial success of the first SpinVox transcription, this one is a bit more flaky; or maybe it's my slurred speak. Still it's all quite magic.

Posterous required that I Confirmed the post before making it public. ipadio added the word 'ipadio: ' to the start of the title, so I've deleted my use of it in the title above.

Note: it does a "post@posterous.com" so the post appears on my Primary Posterous blog AND it is auto-posted to all auto-post accounts e.g. Twitter, WordPress, Tumblr.

Trying ipadio the audio blogging app

This is a try of ipadio, the audio blogging app. It is similar to AudioBoo but with ipadio as well as recording offline and uploading by WiFi or 3G, you can create a blog by phoning a number and record your audio like voice mail. The recording can be streamed in real time by people following you or from a plugin -- if I understand it correctly. I have not tried this. My recording was made on the iPhone App and uploaded via WiFi. I have pasted the Flash embed code from the website above this text, to see how Posterous handles the code.

Another special feature of ipadio is that it uses SpinVox to convert your audio into text (the first minute of the call is converted, more costs a fee). This text transcription is included in the webpage widget and in the the RSS Feed either in a newsreader or iTunes podcast info.
